Originally a variant of the European Dragon wild in Siberia, the Tunguska Dragon has gone extinct in a strange way. Rather than dying off or being killed off all known members of this species have been domesticated by dark dragonologists (starting with Alexandra Gorynytchka) who prize it due to its fighting skills which have been described as 'awesome', its ability to carry a person on its back over long distances and its willingness to bond with a human rider who they recignise through smell.
