The Chinese Lung (also known as the Imperial Lung) is a long thin Eastern dragon which inhabits China. They are 40 feet long and 12 to 15 feet high and have black, blue, green or red skin with long red, orange or bright yellow feelers which they use to locate fish underwater.
They have perhaps the most beautiful egg of any dragon which they protect by carrying with them in their claw. It is white and pearl like but turns blue with silver swirls when placed in water where it will hatch.
It seems likely that the four legendary Chinese 'dragon kings' were highly impressive specimens.
Legend also says that a Chinese lung met Fu Hsi (a chinese man) on the banks of China's Yellow River, and gave him the vital secret of writing. Fu Hsi used writing to teach people how to become civilized.
